The collection debuted simultaneously on PC (on Steam), Xbox One), PlayStation 4) and Nintendo Switch). Xbox Series X/S and PlayStation 5 owners can also play it thanks to backward compatibility.

The set includes the following games:

The GBA games included in the set are real platformer gems, considered to be some of the best games to be released on this handheld.

Apart from the GBA trilogy, the collection also includes Castlevania: Dracula X, which originally came out in 1995 for the 16-bit console SNES. It wasn't exactly a new title, but a heavily remade version of the older Castlevania: Rondo of Blood.

All four games from the Castlevania Advance Collection are available with the same visuals as their original releases. However, a lot of changes have been introduced to make the gameplay more enjoyable, such as quicksaves and the ability to rewind the game by a few seconds. The collection also offers an artwork gallery, a music player and an encyclopedia.
