Cadence of Hyrule Receives Three-Part DLC Schedule That Will Last Through October

In three separate DLC packs, Cadence of Hyrule will receive new characters, new songs, and a new playable story. The DLC packs can be bought separately, or all together in a bundle, but most of it won’t arrive until later this year, and not ultimately until October.

The sword-swinging rhythm game was released just over a year ago for the Switch, and is finally getting a few extra additions to keep things fresh. In Nintendo’s latest “Direct Mini” it was announced that Cadence of Hyrule will be receiving three DLC packs over the coming months.

The first pack, or the “Character Pack,” (which is available now!) contains five new characters. This includes Shadow Link and Shadow Zelda, as well as Impa, Aria, and Frederick.

The second and third DLC packs, detailed below, don’t have release dates as of yet. Nintendo announced that these will be released sometime “before the end of October.”

The “Melody Pack” contains thirty-nine new songs, including new remixes of the background music. It only makes sense that a game based around rhythm would want to add more music.

The third DLC pack, the “Symphony of the Mask,” contains additional story content. This story will focus around a Skull Kid who can change his powers depending on what mask he is wearing.

Which DLC pack are you most excited for? DLC pack 1, the “Character Pack,” is available now on the Nintendo eShop, and the rest of the DLC should arrive sometime later this year.
