Bully Got Rating for PS5 and Xbox Series X Thanks to GTA+ Service

Bully has received an age rating for the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S versions, presumably due to its imminent debut on the GTA+ service.

Bully: Scholarship Edition received an age rating for the version for ninth generation consoles. As noted by Gematsu, the Taiwan Digital Games Ranking Committee added entries for Rockstar Games on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S (as well as Xbox 360, but this is most likely an error, as this version already has its entry).

There is no need to look far for an explanation of this mystery. In April, Rockstar Games studio announced that Bully: Canis Canem Edition would be the next title to hit the GTA+ subscription catalog. It is supposed to be another incentive to check out this service, alongside the first Red Dead Redemption and various digital bonuses.

Bully will be available in GTA+ tomorrow (via Rockstar Games). As the service allows gamers to play the offered titles also on the current generation of consoles, this would explain the entry of the Taiwanese rating committee.

Of course, we can also keep hoping that it's about a real, genuine remaster. However, for now it's better to avoid enthusiastic speculations.

"GTA in school" has already been released on mobile devices, and rumors also speak of a possible Bully sequel. About time, because since its release we got two major Grand Theft Auto games and two spin-offs, while the sixth full game will be released next year.
