Borderlands 3 - Visual Comparison and Technical Issues
A video has been released online offering a visual comparison between Borderlands 3 on Xbox One X and PlayStation 4. The PC version, on the other hand, is struggling with technical issues, but remains popular throughout the board, breaking the activity record of Borderlands 2 twice.

The day before yesterday, Borderlands 3, the latest installment of the popular series from Gearbox Software, launched on the market. The game collects good reviews, but leaves a little to be desired for its level of technical polish. Many players complain about long loading times when using DirectX 12 and problems with stuttering animations.
Interestingly enough, some people have resolved this problem by closing the Epic Games Store client after the game was launched. It is worth noting that it does not affect the online functionality of the game. Other gamers reported an improvement after moving back to the previous version of GeForce GPU drivers.
Please note that on PC, the game is only available through Epic Games Store. However, the service does not have its own forum, so players with technical issues are looking for solutions on the Borderlands 2 forum on Steam.
If you are considering purchase of the console version, we advise you to familiarize yourself with the visual comparison prepared by Digital Foundry. The material shows the differences in visual appearance between PlayStation 4 Pro and Xbox One X. We can also see in action the two modes available in the game. One of them offers 60 frames per second at 1920x1080 resolution, the other 30 FPS at 3200x1800.
It is also worth mentioning that technical issues and lack of release on Steam did not harm the popularity of the game. The CEO of Gearbox Software, Randy Pitchford, boasted that at the hottest point of Borderlands 3's release day on PC, twice as many people enjoyed playing the game than Borderlands 2's record on Steam. The latter number is 123.5 thousand players at the same time, so in the case of the third installment the result should be around 247 thousand people.
Borderlands 3 was released on September 13, this year. The game was warmly welcomed and the PC version now has an average rating of 85% on Metacritic.
