In a creative way and for a good cause, Blizzard uses the theme of the ongoing second season in Diablo 4 - blood.

The developer is encouraging blood donations with a social action called "Blood Harvest." As part of it, after reaching a set threshold of blood donated by the game's community, Diablo 4 players around the world will receive rewards (cosmetic).

Although Blizzard invites everyone to donate blood, only data from people in the United States will count towards the progress of this event, who send proof of having performed the noble deed on the official website of the campaign.

"Blood Harvest" will last until November 20, and its main goal - which will unlock all the rewards for the community - is to collect a total of 666 liters of the life-giving liquid.

Interestingly, those who join the described initiative will also participate in a raffle. To be won in it is a powerful PC "drenched in human blood."

It is worth noting that gifts associated with the event will automatically go to the closet of Diablo 4 players at the moment of crossing subsequent thresholds, which are three in total.

  • Upon reaching the first (33% of the target), players will receive weapon skins with a blood theme.
  • For crossing the second (66% of the final goal) all Diablo 4 owners will receive an armor skin for the barbarian.
  • The main reward for successfully completing the action, meanwhile, is a mount called Vermillion Eye Piebald.

At the time of writing this news, the "blood collection rate" was at 22%. For more details on this commendable endeavor, I refer you to the official website of "Blood Harvest". You can find the link below.
