Black Myth: WuKong Release Date Revealed by Bizarre Trailer

Action game Black Myth: WuKong has been given a release date. Game Science announced it in a quirky video to mark Chinese New Year 2023.

Studio Game Science released a short, extremely bizarre video today to celebrate the upcoming Chinese New Year 2023 (January 22). The video is directly related to Black Myth: WuKong - a third-person action game with RPG elements, which looks downright phenomenal on the trailer.

The video shows how anthropomorphic rabbits receive a package with the game and try to install it on a PC. The video has a strange atmosphere - a little disturbing, a little funny. The most important thing, however, is the information that appears on the screen at 2:02.

In short, Game Science let us know that Black Myth: WuKong will not be released until the summer of 2024. Until now, we could delude ourselves into hoping that we would play the item in the coming months. You can watch the video in question below.

On the one hand, it's a bit of a shame, because Black Myth: WuKong was shaping up to be one of the possible hits of 2023. On the other hand, however, it's worth giving the developer the necessary time - especially since we shouldn't run out of good games in the near future.

For those looking forward to a game with similar vibes, I recommend keeping an eye on Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty - Action RPG from Team Ninja (known mainly for the NiOh series), which is scheduled for release on March 2, 2023 for PC, PS4, PS5, XOne and XSX/S. What's more, it will be available on PC/Xbox Game Pass at launch.

As for Black Myth: WuKong, the game is being developed on Unreal Engine 5 and is headed for PC, PS5 and XSX/S.
