Bayonetta 3 Lives; Gameplay and Release Date Revealed
Bayonetta 3 is no longer a ghost game. During yesterday's Nintendo Direct presentation, not only was a release date revealed, but we've also seen the first gameplay video.
Bayonetta 3 will debut on the Nintendo Switch in 2022. This long-awaited information was revealed during yesterday's episode of Nintendo Direct.
However, that's not all. PlatinumGames also showed gameplay footage from the third adventure of the spunky witch. The fresh trailer is long and also shows non-interactive sequences. Nevertheless, this is the first opportunity to see the new Bayonetta in action. You can watch the footage below.
We've been waiting for Bayonetta's return for a very long time. The second installment was released back in 2014, and then the heroine appeared only as a guest in other series (including Super Smash Bros.). So we should be happy that after a long silence (if not counting the assurances of the project not being abandoning) the creators finally had something more to show than information about the release date. Let's hope the latter is final and neither COVID-19 nor other complications will cause a delay.
