BattleBit Remastered Update Adds New Map
BattleBit Remastered, one of this year's nicest surprises on Steam, received patch 2.1.9. The update introduced a new map to the game, among other things.
A new update to the popular online shooter BattleBit Remastered has been released. The patch is numbered 2.1.9 and brings a number of significant changes and improvements.
- The update has added a new map called KODIAK. The place, inspired by Alaska, is designed mainly for clashes between infantry squads.
- Interface improvements have also been made. First of all, the remaining time for weekly challenges will now be displayed on the weekly challenge panel. In addition, the screen brightness settings now actually change it, rather than just modifying the gamma parameter as before.
- Gameplay changes have also been implemented. XP rewards for completing weekly challenges have been increased and the network code has been improved.
- Several bugs have also been fixed.
BattleBit Remastered debuted in Steam Early Access on June 15, this year, exclusively on PC. The game proved to be a a huge commercial success, selling more than 1.8 million copies in just two weeks after release.
The title was very much to the liking of gamers. On Steam, 90% of user reviews praised BattleBit Remastered, which is categorized as a "very positive" reception. The game also continues to achieve high activity scores. Yesterday, at the hottest time of the day, the game was played by 11,577 people simultaneously on Steam.
