Baldur's Gate: Dark Alliance 2 Coming to PC Sooner Than Expected
Interplay has officially announced the remaster of Baldur's Gate: Dark Alliance 2. The game will hit PC, XONE, PS4, XSX, PS5 and Switch this summer. The game's system requirements have already been made available on Steam.
In February, Interplay teased the remaster of Baldur's Gate: Dark Alliance 2, the popular action RPG from 2004. Now the project has been officially announced.
- Baldur's Gate: Dark Alliance 2 is heading to PC, Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, Xbox Series X/S and PlayStation 5.
- The release will take place this summer.
- The PC version will be sold on Steam, GOG.com and Epic Games Store.
- The remaster of the game will offer 4K resolution.
- Baldur's Gate: Dark Alliance 2 will offer a local co-op mode on all hardware platforms. Online co-op will also be possible on Steam thanks to the Remote Play feature.
- The authors boast that the game will be very well optimized for Steam Deck.
Baldur's Gate: Dark Alliance II originally debuted in 2004 on PlayStation 2 and Xbox consoles. The game was warmly received - the PS2 version received an average score of 78% on Metacritic..
It is worth mentioning at the end that a tab for the game has appeared on Steam, thanks to which we know its system requirements. For now, however, there is only the minimum configuration needed to play Baldur's Gate: Dark Alliance 2. It is rather adequate to the era from which the title comes.
