New Releases on Steam; Most Anticipated PC Game of the Year Debuts This Week
Steam users can't complain about the lack of interesting launches. This week we will see such games as Stray, Forza Horizon 5: Hot Wheels and Baldur's Gate: Dark Alliance II.
Welcome to another review of the most important launches of the week on Steam. The coming days will be interesting. We will play, among others, the highly anticipated cat game, a DLC for the most popular racing games and a remaster of a classic action RPG.
The premiere of the week is Stray (July 19, 2022).
The most important release of the week will undoubtedly be Tuesday's debut of Stray. No other upcoming game has been added to so many wishlists of Steam users.
The game will enable as to play as a cat exploring a cyberpunk metropolis inhabited by robots. The project impresses with visuals and atmosphere, and the gameplay is expected to test both our dexterity and cunning.

In Loplight the creators have relied on mechanics typical of automaton productions and wrapped them up with a distinctive, unusual visual style and a tightly twisted storyline, in which we will try to defeat an ancient deity, feasting on the souls of the inhabitants of a dying world.

Muv-Luv Alternative Total Eclipse Remastered
Fans of visual novels can look forward to the release of Muv-Luv Alternative Total Eclipse Remastered, revamped version of a classic spin-off to this classic series. The game will tell the story of mech test pilots involved in development of new machines and convoluted political plots, all this with an unstoppable invasion of extraterrestrials in the background.
It's a big game with a storyline providing more than 50 hours of gameplay. The original was released in 2007, but never lived to see an English-language version, even in the form of a fan patch. The release of Muv-Luv Alternative Total Eclipse Remastered is therefore an event that visual novel lovers have been waiting a long time for.

Baldur's Gate: Dark Alliance II
On Thursday, the PC will finally get Baldur's Gate: Dark Alliance II, a port of one of the best action RPGs released on PlayStation 2.
The game is old, but it has aged like fine wine, and with support for high resolutions, the PC edition looks much better than the console original.
Released last year, the port of the first part was met with a warm reception (84% positive ratings on Steam), so we expect the sequel will appeal to gamers just as much.
Danganronpa S: Ultimate Summer Camp
Another noteworthy release should turn out to be Danganronpa S: Ultimate Summer Camp, a spin-off of the popular Japanese adventure game series.
In the game we will direct the characters known from other installments of the brand during a summer school camp. The gameplay will combine RPG and board game elements, and the whole thing is expected to have a lighter atmosphere than the main games in the series.
Fleet Commander: Pacific
For those who want more serious games, an interesting proposition may turn out to be Fleet Commander: Pacific, which is a turn-based battle strategy that will enable us to play naval battles in the Pacific from the World War II period.
