Baldur's Gate 3 Character's New Dialogues Cut Deep
The latest update to Baldur's Gate 3 has introduced changes to the romances. The new lines of dialogue further develop the character of one of the companions and can be touching.
Larian Studios continues to update its latest game Baldur's Gate 3. One of the most recent updates includes changes made to romances with companions, enhancing the depth of our relationships with them even further. Astarion has received completely new dialogue lines, which, after experiencing betrayal from the player, may bring tears to at least some of the players.
Even a vampire can have a broken heart
A fragment of the script was posted on Reddit, depicting the conversation between Astarion and the player if the player chooses to spend the night with Mizora. To keep a vampire by your side, you'll need a strong charisma or a lot of luck with dice throws. However, the mentioned dialogues are only accessible if Astarion is a vampire spawn. The dialogue lines so far are only spoken by Astarion after the ascension ritual.
Fans immediately noticed very well-chosen statements that fit Astarion as a vampire spawn. Character development is also much more effectively portrayed, making the relationship with the companion even more intriguing.
'I see everything I've been trying to escape in you.' Damn. They're really expanding on his growth.

I like the job they're doing differentiating spawn and Astarion. This dialogue suits spawn very well!

I' gonna cry. Cheating on him with Mizora is a war crime.

The players reactions are clearly positive. They believe Larian Studios has done an excellent job, and Astarion's character development is clearly evident. The dialogues have been adjusted to fit the characters and, at the same time, emphasize the duality of the characters before and after the ritual. This shows that Baldur's Gate 3 is still becoming a better game, which certainly makes fans happy.
