Recently, there was a leak stating that Avowed won't be released this year. Xbox officially confirmed this information on website X, and also announced the final (hopefully) release date of the RPG from Obsidian Entertainment - Avowed will debut on February 18, 2025, on PC and Xbox Series X/S.

Phil Spencer, head of Microsoft's gaming department, also commented on the game in question. He pointed out that the publisher is proud of Obsidian's work, so he wants to ensure the best possible release date for its game.

Recall that Avowed was scheduled to hit the market in fall 2024. As seen in the above graphic, Microsoft is planning a significant number of premieres for this period. The first title - World of Warcraft: The War Within - players will get on August 26, and in September and October they will receive two more games.

It's also worth mentioning the project of GSC Game World studio. Post-apocalyptic S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of the Chornoby will be released on November 20, which will only further strengthen Microsoft's lineup for the second half of 2024.

Players who are waiting for Avowed must therefore show extra patience. However, you don't have to wait until February 2025 for new gameplay materials. For the upcoming gamescom 2024 fair, the developers have prepared a presentation of this RPG, which should somewhat compensate for the delay.
