Avatar 2 - Photo From the Set and New Details About the Plot
In a recent interview, Jon Landau, the producer responsible for Avatar 2, shared small details about the plot of the next instalment of James Cameron's hit movie. A few days ago he shared a picture from the set on his Instagram.
Due to the coronavirus pandemic, work on the second part of James Cameron's hit - Avatar 2 - was halted some time ago. Recently, however, we learned that the production is slowly moving forward, and producer Jon Landau (responsible for Titanic, Avatar and Alita: Battle Angel) shared new details about the plot of the next installment of the saga in an interview for RNZ .
"This is the story of the Sully family and what one does to keep their family together. Jake and Neytiri have a family in this movie, they are forced to leave their home, they go out and explore the different regions of Pandora, including spending quite a bit of time on the water, around the water, in the water."
What's more, a few days ago, Landau shared a photo from the set on his Instagram account, where we can see the Picador jetfloat and the Matador command ship, which will most likely appear in the film.
For over a year it has been said that Avatar 2 will premiere at the end of 2021 (on December 17 to be precise). Two years later the third part of the series is to appear, and if both productions are well received, two more will be filmed. In February this year, we also learned that an Avatar game from Ubisoft is still being developed, although one of the producers - Jesper Karabanov - admitted that he is not allowed to talk about it at all. The video game Avatar is intended to be an open-world title, focusing on interaction and online fun. It is also supposed to offer spectacular visuals that will reproduce various locations from Cameron's film universe in the smallest details. The game should be released in 2021.
