Assassin's Creed: Empire alleged leaked screenshot emerged
If this isn't an Assassin's Creed: Empire leaked screenshot, then what is it? We'll probably know for sure at this year's E3.
Assassin’s Creed fans on NeoGAF and Reddit have dug out what seems to be a screenshot from Assassin’s Creed: Empire, the next installment to Ubisoft’s key action game franchise, reportedly set in ancient Egypt. Although the quality of the photo is very poor, we can clearly see an armed character taking a stance similar to what we’ve seen in previous Assassin’s Creed games, standing in something that looks like a pyramid entrance. Note also that the shield on the man’s back has the letter A drawn on it, and the text at the bottom of the screen suggests the location is set in Giza, a city in ancient Egypt.
A few months ago a similar leak revealed the appearance of the pause menu in Assassin’s Creed: Empire, which, if legit, pretty much confirmed that the game will take us to Egypt. Moreover, the next AC is reported to have a world three times bigger than the one in Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag, where the main hero – a slave looking a bit like Altair – will move around on foot, by horse and by boat. As for gameplay, it is said to somewhat resemble The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, with more emphasis on action adventure than stealth. Of course, these are all just rumors, so you should take them with a grain of salt.
