Arma III Jets DLC and more discussed in this new video

Bohemia Interacive has shared some new details on the upcoming DLC packs for Arma III, including the Jets DLC and the free Malden DLC. These and other things were discussed in a new video.

Arma III developers at Czech-based Bohemia Interactive Studio shared a video, in which they discuss details on several upcoming DLC packs. One of them, called Jets, is to introduce three new fighters, a combat drone and a bunch of other content. Moreover, it is going to enhance some of the flight mechanics, system of damage and give players an option of changing the weapon loadout of aircrafts. You can pre-order the Jets DLC in Bohemia’s official store: either alone or bundled with three other add-ons (Orange, Tac-Ops and Tanks).

Even if you don’t buy the upcoming addons to Arma III, you can still enjoy upgraded mechanics.

Apart from paid content, the developers are preparing a free DLC, called Malden, due out on June 22. This one is going to introduce a new island, well-known to Operation Flashpoint fans, as well as a new multiplayer co-op mode Combat Patrol. Even if you don’t buy the upcoming add-ons, you can still count on getting the upgraded mechanics for free. Besides, the team at Bohemia Interactive are busy preparing technical updates, e.g. an improved 64-bit .exe file that will enable the game to use the full memory of the newest operation systems. They are also planning to release Linux and Mac versions of Arma III this year.
