Among Us Devs Started Banning Cheaters
A screenshot published on Reddit indicates that the studio InnerSloth, the developers responsible for the megahit Among Us, have started to ban people using hacks.
As is often the case in similar situations, the sudden increase in popularity of Among Us contributed to increased interest of cheaters. Fortunately, it seems that the developers have reacted to the problem and started to ban people using hacks. One of the players thrown out of the game shared on Reddit a screenshot of the message he received while trying to launch the game.
The message is short and very simple. One may have doubts whether it will be effective, but the ban itself should become at least some nuisance for the cheater (especially on PC, where the game is not free, although it costs only $6).
It remains to be hoped that the developers will not stop there and take further steps to secure the game and eliminate the cheaters.
Among Us was launched in 2018. The game is available on PCs and mobile platforms (Android and iOS).
