Frictional Games has shared an extensive gameplay recording from the upcoming Amnesia: The Bunker. The new video presents a number of mechanics and locations that we will be given to see in the full version.

The ten-minute video focuses on traversing the title bunker - a grim World War I-era structure, infested with macabre monsters. As in previous installments of the series, the game will offer a first-person perspective, while gameplay will emphasize exploration and skillful use of resources.

Today's video also presented combat mechanics new to the series. The game's protagonist, Henri Clement, is equipped with a revolver and grenades, which will prove useful in clashes with common enemies. Thus, the French soldier will be a much more active hero than the defenseless protagonists of the previous parts.

The new, longer gameplay recording is a nice change for survival horror fans after a series of short promotional materials presented by the studio in recent months. The video also suggests that despite some changes to the gameplay structure, the characteristic atmosphere of Amnesia is still present in the upcoming installment.

After several delays the latest game from Frictional Games will launch as early as May 23. The game will be available on PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S.
