Amnesia: The Bunker Delays Continue

The developers of Amnesia: The Bunker have once again postponed the game's release as a result of unforeseen problems in the final stretch.

Amnesia: The Bunker will not be released on May 23. Frictional Games has decided to to postpone the debut of the new "Amnesia" to June 6.

The information was provided by Fredrik Olsson, who is overseeing the production. In a video posted on Twitter, the creator explained that the project is in the certification stage and most of the work is going smoothly.

Except that they have encountered "many rare bugs" that are causing the game to be forcibly shut down. The developer is having trouble finding the source and thus reproducing these glitches. This, in turn, makes it impossible to fix them.

Therefore, given a choice between postponing the release or working nights or weekends, the studio opted for the former option.

This is not the first delay of the new Amnesia. Exactly a month ago Frictional Games postponed the game's debut by a week, also justifying it with the desire to polish the game (although at the time it was not stated what exactly caused the developers problems). The game suffered also a two-month delay at the beginning of the year, in part due to a fair amount of winter sickness in the team.

Amnesia: The Bunker is coming to PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S. Let's hope that at least the June debut will be successful for the developers.
