Ubisoft Employees Fight for Better Working Conditions Through a Public Petition
Ubisoft's A Better Ubisoft Group, which associates the company's employees, has launched a petition to gather community signatures to help improve working conditions.
- In response to the lack of systemic solutions to the problems plaguing the French publisher, a group of Ubisoft employees has prepared a public petition;
- Their goal is to improve the working conditions.
A Better Ubisoft, the French company's employee organization, has issued an open letter to management, in which it notes that its demands from 100 days ago have not been implemented. The public statement is aimed at gaining support among the journalist and gaming community to put pressure on Ubisoft.
"100 days ago we signed our open letter and set out our four key demands. None of our demands have been met. So today we’re launching a new a petition open for ALL our supporters to sign," we can read in the latest announcement of A Better Ubisoft group.
The French company has not yet commented on the action. However, we know that after the first letter Yves Guillemot has spoken out, assuring us that he's taken note of the demands and that some of them have already been implemented. Others were going to take time.
A Better Ubisoft 's opinion is that not all problems have been solved. Those accused of misdeeds are not held accountable and are moved to other studios instead of being fired .

What are the latest demands, apart from solving the above problem? Bringing associated employees to the table to work together to solve Ubisoft's problems and to work across the industry to create standards and policies that will rectify the situation and prevent similar incidents in the future. All with the participation of workers and union representatives, of course.
