Ubisoft May Reveal Several New Assassin's Creed Games on Saturday (Leak)
As many as several new games from the Assassin's Creed series - not just Mirage - may be introduced at Saturday's Ubisoft Forward. Tom Henderson's sources point to games set in Japan and China, among others.
This year's Ubisoft Forward is fast approaching. It has been officially announced that Satruday's stream will showcase games such as Skull and Bones or Mario Rabbids: Sparks of Hope. Now, informant Tom Henderson (known for the fact that the leaks he gives most often come true) has informed that several Assassin's Creed games will be revealed during the show. As he wrote:
"(...) Now, with several new sources confirming this information, I'm confident I can share it."
One of the titles presented is expected to be Project Jade (code name), a mobile game with action taking place in China. Henderson also claims that something will be said at Ubisoft Forward about Assassin's Creed VR (i.e. Project Nexus).
AC: Mirage is also scheduled to be shown, which has actually been officially confirmed. The main character will supposedly be, known from Valhalla, Basim, while the action is to take place in Baghdad. It is likely to be a much smaller title than the last three installments of the series. Speaking of Valhalla, Henderson mentions that the final DLC for this installment is in the pipeline.
Another game he mentions is AC: Infinity - or rather, the two separate games that comprise it. One of them is Project Red, whose protagonist we will be traversing Japan. While the other is Project Hexe (previously known as Project Neo), set in the 16th century, when witch hunts took place, and is said to be exceptionally dark for the series.
All in all, at Saturday's Ubisoft event as many as five Assassin's Creed games from the series may be revealed. Whether exactly that many or more - or maybe less - will be presented, we will find out in four days. Ubisoft Forward will begin at 9 pm CEST - you can watch the show here.
