To use a Fatal Blow, you need to fulfill a certain condition, which requires that the health of your hero drops below 30%. Fatal Blow strikes are performed by simultaneously pressing the style change and block buttons, and each of the characters has its own unique animation. What is very important, Fatal Blow strikes can be blocked or dodged. If this happens, after a while you will be able to use them again.
When is the best time to use a Fatal Blow?
Fatal Blow strikes can only be used once during the entire match. This means that if you use your Fatal Blow in the first round, you will not be able to use it in the second or third (decisive) round. Fatal Blow can be useful at a time when you find yourself in a difficult situation, and you still have a chance to finish the enemy and win the round. If, however, Your advantage over the opponent is significant, it is worth trying to complete this round in the traditional way, and save Fatal Blow for decisive round.
When to expect the use of Fatal Blow by your opponent?
If the health of the enemy drops below 30% and he'll push you to the wall, he is definitely going to use Fatal Blow to save himself/herself from difficult situation. Another good example of using Fatal Blow is when the opponent wins the first round and wants to end the whole fight within two rounds.
