Learn to make perfect dodges and perfect parries

Some attacks cannot be avoided and cannot be escaped from. When you see yellow circles around the enemy, you will have to prepare to parry. Perfect parry happens by pressing the appropriate button when the circles change from yellow to red.

During fights with bosses, you will also encounter attacks that can only be avoided. Always observe the notifications above the enemy's head and above your character's head.

Perfect dodges and parries charge ability bars and the healing bar - proper use of these techniques will give you an advantage in battle.

Gliding is a fast way to cover large distances

In Marvel's Spider Man 2, Peter and Miles receive a new ability. When you are in the air, you will be able to open your wingsuit and start gliding. This is a great way to move around the city quickly, especially when missions lead you to Brooklyn or Queens.

During the flight, you can press X to use the web to push forward, which will speed up your movement even more. Flying near bridges will provide places from which Spider-Man will be able to launch himself.

Upgrade the suits

You can get additional boost to attack damage and an increase in Spider-Man's health points by upgrading the suit, so you should focus on buying these improvements. You can purchase all upgrades, new suits, and gadgets with tech parts and tokens, which you will earn by completing main and side missions and obtaining collectibles.

Search for gold boxes

There are two types of chests scattered throughout the city. You will most often come across blue chests - they contain tech parts. Golden chests contain more valuable items.

They have rare tech parts, necessary for purchasing advanced suit technology and gadgets upgrades. So it's worth not ignoring the sound signals that each box makes and thoroughly searching the area.

Catch the thieves!

Eliminating crime is rewarded with a large amount of regular tech parts, so if you don't have enough of them, scan the area and help the police. Crimes appear in random locations and provide additional experience points.

Oh, those tiny Spider-bots!

Spider-bots are the hardest collectibles to get. The game doesn't inform that you have found one, they will not appear on the map or mini-map either. When you are close enough to a Spider-bot, it will start glowing with pink-green energy, so it is easy to overlook it while gliding at a high speed.

The best method for finding Spider-bots is swinging on a web between buildings or jumping between buildings. You can also try to go down to the ground and look for these little spiders on the sidewalks or under a bridge.

Some of the Spider-bots are suspended in the air. So if you are still looking for a Spider-bot, go to the highest building and look around for a pink hexagon in the sky. The only way to get this Spider-bot is using the wingsuit. Also take advantage of the various objects you can find on the rooftops to launch yourselves high into the air.

Switch abilities

Peter and Miles have different abilities, which you will unlock as you progress through the main storyline. You can change these abilities at any moment, even during a fight.

So try out all your character's special attacks to choose the right set. Some of the skills will be useful for fighting a single strong enemy, while others can knock out a large group of opponents.
