QUEST 3: Save Kate and Jack

It's VERY IMPORTANT that you follow my instructions. Otherwise you will have to repeat this scene, because there's only one way for you to succeed. Once you've regained full control over Elliott, move him forward and make sure that he's standing IN FRONT OF Kate. Draw your weapon and aim at the dynamite. Fire a single shot and you'll be rewarded with a cut-scene.

Lagoon

This scene will begin with a short conversation. You'll be allowed to listen to what Juliet has to say to the main character. You'll find out that there's little time to get to the boat. Get ready, because you'll have to participate in a new action sequence (screen). This time you won't be chased by the black smoke, however you can't make too many mistakes, because otherwise you wouldn't be able to get there in time.

This is going to be a very similar action sequence, so you still have to avoid certain obstacles, mostly trees and boulders. You'll be using two keys. One of them will allow you to perform jumps while the other one is used to slide. You will be presented with a short movie at about half way through. It'll inform you that an enemy vessel is heading towards the boat.

Be careful, because you will have to go through several narrow spots. Make sure that you're running in the middle, so you won't die as a result of losing balance. The final part of this chase sequence will also require you to make a few turns, especially after encountering a new cave system (screen). It shouldn't be a major problem. Head on to the pier where you'll meet Locke. You should be there at least 5-10 seconds before the time limit runs out.

Now you will be given a unique opportunity to have the final conversation with Locke (screen). Just as before, you should start by asking him a few general questions:

- How did you find the boat?

- Heard any more about the Others?

- Do you want to be rescued?

- You're staying?

Finally, choose the only available topic from the Quest category:

- It's time to go...

You can inspect a smaller boat which can be found to your left, however you wouldn't find anything of interest there. Instead, head on to the opposite end of the pier. Try getting on board of a larger boat (screen).

Congratulations! You've just finished the game! Sit back and enjoy the final FMV sequence... and prepare yourself for a shocking ending! :-)
