Red bricks (Super builds) LEGO The Incredibles Guide and Walkthrough

You can find a lot of super-bricks around the city, which get marked on the map after finishing all of the Crimewave missions. They are used to erect Super builds, for what you will receive special rewards (for some of them you get Red bricks and characters, in addition, every build grants a gold brick). After collecting 100 super bricks, you will receive 1 gold brick and a character, Stratogale.

There are Super builds in every district, however, only some of them will grant you Red bricks, which - after activating them in the game menu (hold and press the character select button and open the last tab) - grant access to various bonuses. Sometimes, you also have to solve a simple puzzle to get the Red bricks.

Residential District

Lava pool = the way to get a Red brick.

Erect a Super build in the north-eastern part of the city (figurine: Bing Bong). After finishing it move to the right side of the playground, jump onto all of the buttons resembling isles and end your hopping around on the piece in the middle. Then, move to the checkerboard and hit on of the pieces. After a short cutscene, you will receive a brick: Fast Interact. Now all the interactions in the game, as well as the building process, are much faster.

Financial District

Russell can also help you with other clues on the map.

On the southern side of the Financial District, you can find a construction site with an area for a Super build. After erecting the build, you unlock Russell. Use his ability to track clues (signified by a blue magnifying glass icon on the map). Press the action button to start tracking. Follow the lead, then enter the building and head upstairs, when there destroy all the objects and build a new object. After doing this a Red brick: Destroy on contact will appear in front of the building. Now, every vehicle you touch will instantly explode.

The other Super build (Pixar) in the western part of the Financial District won't grant you a Red brick, however, it will unlock the Junior character.

Tourist District

Pull the rocket's handle and you will get a valve, which can be installed inside the building.

Erect a Super build in the center of the Tourist District to unlock the Water form and gain access to a Red brick. Use a character with a rope (or e.g. Elastigirl) to destroy the rocket on the left side of the building and mount the valve you got before inside so that you can reach the Red brick: Stud Magnet. It attracts coins to your character.

Industrial District

Destroy the hinges of the vehicle to get inside.

In the northern part of the district, you will find a Super build in the western corner. After finishing the build, you will receive a new hero: Wall-E. You can use it to gain access to a Red brick: x10 Coins - It multiplies the value of coins gathered tenfold. You only need to use the laser, and destroy the hinges on the construction, to create yourself a way in.

Outer Municiberg

Erect a build in the eastern part of Outer Municiberg.

You will also find a Red brick in Outer Municiberg. Erect a Super build in the eastern part of the map, to unlock the Spot character. Use the new character to inspect the pile of brown bricks near the build. You will receive a Red brick: Classic Mode. It causes the game to look like an old movie.

Waterfront

A build in the western part of the Waterfront.

Erect a building in the western part of the Waterfront. You'll unlock a hero: Sulley. Smash the crates inside and use the parts to build. You will receive a Red brick: Edna Mode... Mode. In this mode, all heroes look like Edna.

Urbem Heights

A build in Urbem Heights.

In the central part of the district, on the parking lot, there's a place for a Super build. After finishing the build, you unlock a character: Flik. Choose your new character and inspect the two piles of brown brick close to the vehicle. When inside, use the crank to get a Red brick: Pickup Detector- This brick makes finding secrets and mission items easy.

City Park

A hut in the City Park.

You can construct a Super build in the form of a wooden hut in front of the labyrinth in the City Park and by doing this unlock the Merida character. Now, use your new character (or any hero who can shoot) to get inside the hut. Destroy the items inside. You will get a Red brick: x2 Coins. Your coin multiplier will double.

Downtown

Erect a Super build in the southern part of Downtown. You will unlock the character: Linguini. To get the Red brick that's inside, enter the building from the east side and use e.g. Edna's robot or Linguini's rat so that you can enter the pipe adjacent to the building. The reward is a Red brick: x8 Coins. It increases the coin multiplier 8 times.

Docks #1

After erecting a building in the eastern part of the Docks, you will unlock the character: Lightning McQueen. Go into the red ring next to the building to start a race. Finish the race successfully and you will receive a reward in the form of a Red brick: Invincibility. Your character is immortal. You can use any character and vehicle while competing in the race.

Docks #2

The second build in the Docks.

There's also a second build in the Docks (in the central-eastern part), which allows you to get a Red brick. First, you will receive the character: Miguel, then get inside and build using the bricks you find there to receive the brick: X6 Coins. It increases the coin multiplier by six times.

Docks #3

Underwater treasure, a Red brick.

The last Red brick on the list: Swing Mode. A characteristic theme starts playing in the background and characters burst into a dance when they're not moving. Collect it after finishing a build in the south of the Docks. This will unlock Dory the fish, which can be used to swim to the depths of the sea, where you will find the build. When there, destroy five blue shells to get to the Red brick.
