Hotline Miami 2 requires a low end PC. OpenGL 3.2a has been released in 2009, the recommended CPU has premiered a year before that. The required RAM and HDD space is already present in the majority of office computers. The game would probably run smoothly even on office computers.

In the 1920 x1080 resolution and vsync enabled, the game runs great. Save occasional freezes right after you kill the last enemy, the game caused no problems. The problems were resultant from the necessity of actively changing soundtrack, which could be a little bit troublesome, in the heat of a fight.

The game needs to be registered through Steam and offers offline single player only. The required controls are the keyboard and the mouse, but these can be replaced with PlayStation 4 and Xbox 360 controllers.

The game ran smoothly, in the 1920 x 1080 resolution and vsync enabled. It froze for a moment, after the last opponent was killed, and when the track changed.
