How to finish the game on the Professional difficulty in Hitman Blood Money? Hitman: Blood Money Guide
Last update: 21 January 2019
The Professional difficulty is the highest difficulty level available in Hitman: Blood Money. This is a very demanding mode, in which you have to plan your next action and move with extra care during missions. On this page of Hitman: Blood Money guide, we've included various tips on how to play the game efficiently on the Professional difficulty.
- You can't save your progress during the mission. Play each stage several times to learn the map and to plan the best way to eliminate the mission objective(s). Then, try to put the plan in motion.
- Only the most important things are marked on the map - mission objectives, Agency pickups, and available exits. While exploring the map, pay attention to the location of the opponents, routes patrolled by enemies, cameras, and interactive objects, which can help Agent 47 completing his contract.
- Your mistakes have much more serious consequences. This especially applies to your Notoriety Level. If you made a mistake and your Notoriety Level increased, Agent 47 can be recognized by NPCs in the next missions. Try to leave as few signs of your presence as possible. The game has a Notorious trophy/achievements for being the most wanted, but it's best to take care of it during a separate playthrough.
- Characters on the map are more sensitive to sounds. Especially if it comes to the weapons. Even if you use the silencer, your shots can be noticed by observers (foes or civilians). It's best to eliminate the targets in secluded places and, if possible, use the alternative methods of killing, e.g. garrote.
- The health of Agent 47 doesn't regenerate, and he's less resistant to enemies attacks. Not a very important change given that you should focus on completing every stage without being noticed and not engage with anyone in firefights.
