Hello Neighbor: Starting tips
What you need to know before starting Hello Neighbor!
Table of Contents
- Remember - a disturbing sound and the screen going dark are the sign that the neighbor is getting near you. Better run towards your house - you are safe there, as the neighbor cannot trespass your property. When running away, be careful, as the neighbor can try to slow you down by throwing glue jars at you.
- Use the hiding places. After entering the neighbor's house, you need to skillfully move between different rooms and be careful not to get caught. Sometimes, sneaking around is not enough so when you see (or hear) that the neighbor is approaching you, you can hide e.g. inside a closet.
- Look for different items. In this walkthrough, you can find the information which items might prove useful during the game. Nonetheless, you need to look for them right from the start. For example - an umbrella makes it easier to move around the roof of your neighbor's house giving you the ability to slowly fall from it.
- Remember that your character has only three inventory slots. During the game, you can carry only four items at the same time. Thus, consider hiding precious items at your own house, where they are safe.
