Unbuckle your belt and free yourself from the chair. Rachet will start to panic - follow him and help him retrieve his weapon. You can throw in a short comment:

Need a hand buddy?	Regardless of your choice, Rocket will respond with a powerful comeback, while you will help him equip his weapon.
Calm down Rocket!

The team is quite unnerved by the fact that Rachet keeps such powerful weaponry on board.

Why didn't you tell me?!	Ratchet won't concern himself with your comment, but he will note the fact that you've approved/criticized his approach.

You'll reach a huge gate. Talk with Ratchet, who will reveal that his weapon can be fired only once.

You've now taken over direct control over Peter. Look up and press the interaction button to Look at the crack found in the upper part of the strange mechanism. Use your Jet Boots to fly up to the object and get through the crevice. Unexpectedly, you'll be subjected to a short action sequence where you'll need to avoid a falling stone -turn right to get from underneath its path. You'll receive a call from Gamora, who will make sure that you've managed to emerge unscathed.

The access card can be found on the third floor, in the helmet found next to a dead Nova Corps guard

Your job is to open a passageway that can be used by the rest of your team. Use Jet Boots to access the second level. Fly up to the crashed ship and Look At its turret. You'll receive a call from Ratchet. Fly up to the ledge at the top of the hall and approach the body of a guard, then look at his helmet and pick it up. The helmet yields an ID chip that will enable you to take control of the turret.

Return to the turret and use the ID chip. Peter will use the opportunity to warn his team, who will be reunited with him shortly.

Stand back.	Regardless of your choice, Peter will destroy the door - the rest of the team will emerge unscathed.

You've finally encountered Thanos. There are a few dialogues present before the showdown:

You are now facing a long action sequence in which the Guardians engage Thanos. Unexpectedly, Peter will be the one to save the day. Crawl up to Rachet's weapon, aim it at Thanos' torso, and press the trigger. The blast turns out to be powerful enough to defeat your opponent. The Starlord will comment upon the victory:

Pick-up the Eternity Forge from Thanos' hand. If you please, you can harass his body by choosing the dialogue option that involves kicking.
