The best rendition of the Warhammer 40,000 universe we've ever seen. Bombastic, brutal and brilliant fun from start to finish, though those who are already invested in Games Workshop's sci-fi world will get the most out of it.

Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 Description
Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 is the second installment in a series of dynamic action games, launched in 2011. Unlike the first part of the series, which was created by Relic Entertainment and THQ, the sequel is the work of the Saber Interactive team, and its release was handled by Focus Entertainment.
Plot
As the title suggests, the action of Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 is set in the Warhammer 40,000 universe, which is engulfed in eternal war. The main character of this item is Captain Titus, known from the first part of the series, belonging to an elite unit of Space Marines (played by Clive Standen, known from the film Taken and the tv series Vikings). The protagonist begins another bloody ordeal, during which he will not only have to slaughter hordes of Tyranids, but also uncover the dark secrets of the galaxy.
Mechanics
In Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 we watch events from a third-person perspective (TPP). The core of the game are dynamic and brutal clashes with hordes of enemies, during which instead of hiding behind cover, we push forward with a loud battle cry. We eliminate hordes of enemies, making use of a wide range of murder tools, among which futuristic firearms lead the way, headed by a powerful machine gun. Although it works great in situations where we keep enemies at a distance, when we are close to adversaries, it is better to reach for the iconic hybrid of a sword and a chainsaw.
Game modes
In Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 we can play solo or in multiplayer. For players who prefer solitary play, a story campaign has been prepared, in which we traverse atmospheric locations, participate in large-scale battles and carry out tasks entrusted to us. In addition to this, a cooperative campaign for up to three people is available, as well as PvP modes, in which two six-person teams fight for victory (one represents the Space Marines, while the other - the Chaos Space Marines).
While in the single-player campaign we play as Captain Titus, in multiplayer modes we take control of a Space Marine representing one of six classes - Tactical, Assault, Vanguard, Bulwark, Sniper and Heavy. As we progress, we unlock new skills, as well as cosmetic items, which allow us to personalize the appearance of our soldier.
