The game is based on the license of the World Rally Championship and allows you to sit behind the wheel of cars that participated in the 1999 season. The game includes a wide variety of game modes dedicated to both rally enthusiasts and total amateurs. In the US, the game was released as Need for Speed: V-Rally 2.

Mechanics

The second part of the V-Rally series actively uses the World Rally Championship license, to test itself on eighty special stages from twelve countries. The creators have prepared over twenty cars. In addition to the vehicles participating in the 1999 struggle, such as the mitsubishi lancer evolution VI, skoda octavia, toyota corolla, subaru impreza or ford focus Mk1, there are also classic vehicles from the past, such as the audi quattro B2 and lancia stratos. Each of the available cars can be modified for individual settings that best suit the player. All of them are also subject to breakdowns and damage that may affect their behaviour on the tracks.
