Tower of Babel: Survivors of Chaos is an arena survival game, combining elements of hack'n'slash, roguelike, and survival titles. The development of this game was handled by the independent studio Nanoo. It was primarily inspired by Vampire Survivors and the Diablo series.

Story

Tower of Babel: Survivors of Chaos transports us to a fantasy world, dominated by the titular tower. Although no one remembers how and when it was erected, legend has it that a reward in the form of fulfilling the deepest wishes awaits the brave hero who manages to reach its very top. During the game, we take on the role of one of these characters, and our task is to conquer all the floors of this building.

Gameplay

In Tower of Babel: Survivors of Chaos we watch the action in an isometric view. During the game, we fight our way through the successive floors of the tower, eliminating hordes of enemies. The fights are dynamic, and during them we must be constantly moving, not getting hit, while simultaneously launching accurate attacks in close combat or at a distance.

On the way, we collect better equipment and upgrade the items we already have. New weapons and armor pieces drop from defeated enemies, and the higher inside the tower we are, the better items await us. As we progress, we develop the character, unlocking increasingly powerful skills.

Our base of operations is the lobby, where we can also return for the purpose of identifying equipment, access to which is limited by the language barriers surrounding us.

Game modes

Tower of Babel: Survivors of Chaos only allows for single-player gameplay. We meet other adventurers controlled by AI, with whom we can form alliances and jointly fight our way through the next floors.
