Achilles: Survivor PC

Achilles: Survivor is an isometric view bullet heaven action game, which combines the mechanics known from this sub-genre, with building and roguelike. The title was developed by Polish studio Dark Point Games, for which this is a return to the world known from Achilles: Legends Untold.

The plot

In Achilles: Survivor we find ourselves in a world inspired by Greek mythology, which is consumed by the conflict between the god of the underworld Hades and the god of war Ares.

As the titular Achilles, hero and hero of the Trojan War, we escape from Tartarus. In doing so, we free the souls of various creatures of the so-called Survivors.

As part of our journey, we will visit picturesque places such as Greek islands, but also Troy and the aforementioned Tartarus.

Gameplay

A key feature of the gameplay is fighting hordes of mythological monsters and bosses, who attack in waves. To survive, we use not only skills and the available arsenal, but also strategy. To this end, we have the ability to construct machines and traps, such as a Trojan horse or a fire-breathing turret. Each structure has its own unique features to facilitate the skirmish.

The game world is divided into different locations, which then allow you to choose a clash with additional objectives. Examples include inflicting a certain amount of damage in a limited time or constructing a specific number of buildings.

In addition to Achilles wielding powerful melee attacks, we can take on other Survivors. These include Parys who attacks at a distance, Pythia who casts spells, or the Cyclops Brontes who possesses brute strength. The characters have unique combat abilities and numerous powers, which we can unlock with the points we earn from defeated opponents.

From expeditions we take with us treasures that help us develop and become more dangerous, and in case of defeat we return stronger.
