Plot

The action of The Myth Seekers: The Legacy of Vulcan is set in Italy in 1920. The main protagonist of the game is Amelie, a Roman mythology expert who works for the titular agency called The Myth Seekers – she begins an investigation with a goal to find an ancient artifact called The Vulcan’s Hammer. The difficulty of her task lies in the fact that she has to accomplish it before other ancient gods beat her to the artifact and annihilate all humanity similarly to the catastrophe in Pompeii.

Mechanics

As befits a true HOPA game, in The Myth Seekers: The Legacy of Vulcan for PC, WP and etc. a player gets to visit twenty-eight locations, in which he has to complete multiple minigames and solve nearly forty puzzles involving finding particular characters, items, and objects cleverly hidden within boards filled with many colorful details. During the game, a player gets to learn more about sixteen characters from the Roman pantheon – first and foremost Vulcan, a godly blacksmith.

Technical aspects

The Myth Seekers: The Legacy of Vulcan delivers high-quality visuals on all platforms – this mostly regards picturesque locations and polished cutscenes, through which a player gets to learn about the story.
