Demon Hunter 3: Revelation Description
Published on WP, AND and etc., Demon Hunter 3: Revelation is the third instalment in the series of casual adventure games with hidden items. Just like its two former parts, the production is co-developed by Brave Giant from Serbia and Polish Artifex Mundi - the genre’s veterans.
Plot
Demon Hunter 3: Revelation focuses on the heroine known from the former instalments – Dawn Harlock – who was supposed to live a normal life after defeating the beast from another dimension. Unfortunately, the situation requires her to become once more a detective tracking down demons and supernatural mysteries. When a woman gets murdered and her daughter goes missing in unclear circumstances, Dawn is asked to assist the investigation with a child’s life at stake. Delving deeper into the case, the protagonist finds out that a new, evil force is responsible for this, and the unusual events may have something to do with her own vague origin.
Mechanics
Mechanically, the third part of Demon Hunter follows the path of its predecessors and, at the same time, most of hidden object games. During gameplay, you move around static locations, solve puzzles, and unravel new elements of the plot. The adventure elements are complemented with traditional scenes with hidden objects (there are 21 of them) and varied minigames (26), which test your perceptivity and logical reasoning.
Technical aspects
Demon Hunter 3: Revelation released on WP, AND and etc. utilises a style typical for the genre which does not keep any secrets from Artifex Mundi. Therefore, the title does not feature super-duper visuals, but rather static, 2D locations with simple animation. The hand-drawn, colourful, and detailed graphics are still very decent. An original and harmonising soundtrack accompanies Gameplay.
