Tales of Anturia: Heistos is an action RPG developed by Sartorian, a Polish indie studio. It was developed alongside Farathan, another game co-created by the studio, inspired by Gothic.

Plot

Tales of Anturia: Heistos is set in the titular land of Heistos. It's a harsh, mountainous territory and the site of conflict between two leaders, Dognar and Garnarok. A wide river is all that separates it from orc-controlled lands. Due to the looming danger, the leaders must often cooperate despite their differences.

We play as an adventurer traversing the icy wastelands in search of ancient ruins. We must reclaim the Iron Crown, which is meant to unite the people of Heistos and let them deal with the orcs once and for all.

Mechanics

Tales of Anturia: Heistos is a first-person game, Its open world consisting of four main areas. As we traverse the snowy, icy plains, ancient ruins and dark dungeons, we complete quests and fight enemies.

Combat is fast-paced, with our character class determining how exactly we'll dispatch our foes. We can engage them in melee, at a distance or wield powerful magic. As we progress further, we develop our character, becoming capable of facing greater challenges.

Technical aspects

Tales of Anturia: Heistos features decent visuals. The detailed environments and enemy models are all rather appealing.

Tales of Anturia: Heistos was described by its creators as "Farathan in a different world and without dialogue. They've encouraged players to try the game out while waiting for their other project to be completed.
