Tale of Immortal

Tale of Immortal is a 2D open-world RPG set in a universe inspired by Chinese mythology and culture. The game was developed and published by Ghost Valley Studio, an independent company from China.

Plot

The storyline of Tale of Immortal is inspired by story told in the Classic of Mountains and Seas, a five-part Chinese text created between the 4th and 2nd centuries BC. Players take on the role of a hero who starts out as a mortal and at the end of his journey becomes an immortal, almost divine being.

Mechanics

In Tale of Immortal the game world is shown from top-down view. Gameplay is about exploring locations, completing tasks and fighting enemies (with arcade combat system). From time to time the player is also involved in building various villages and structures.

Game modes

In Tale of Immortal we can only play alone. The core of the game is the story campaign.

Technical aspects

2D graphics of Tale of Immortal doesn't differ from other games of this type, but the original artistic style - visible both in the look of the locations and in the images of characters displayed on the screen during the conversations - is eye-catching and attractive.
