Super Ski 2

Super Ski 2 is an excellent continuation of the Microids sports game, in which you will be able to take part in six competitions, which are part of the Winter Olympics.

From the very beginning we will be greeted by a few changes, the most important of which is the significantly improved audio-visual setting. The authors definitely improved this aspect of the game, making Super Ski 2 a work comparable to The Games: Winter Challenge, released much later. Traditionally, before the start of the competition, we can train at will each of the six available competitors (giant slalom, bobsleigh, special slalom, ski jumping, downhill and mogul skiing). It is worth to do this not only because of the mastery of basic control (differing depending on the discipline), but also because the opponents in this game have no mercy and it is necessary to combine well to defeat them in the right competitions. The games start with the selection of the number of players (maximum four) and the creation of players' characters (name, phase, nationality). Then we take part in a series of next competitions, in which the points gained will decide on our final achievements.

Super Ski 2 is an interesting proposition for winter sports enthusiasts, which has only the title and subject matter in common with its prototype. The only major drawback of the game is a small number of competitors, although the authors are still to be praised for placing an unprecedented ride on moguls. It's a pity that it wasn't decided to repeat the possibility of choosing the level of difficulty of the route, which would certainly make it easier for inexperienced players to play the game.
