Star Wars: TIE Fighter: Defender of the Empire

Less than a year after Star Wars: TIE Fighter, LucasArts released an additional mission package - Defender of the Empire. It is a continuation of the story from the basic version of the game, and our main goal is to detect and eliminate traitors working for the rebels. The Emperor Palpatrine orders Vice Admiral Thrawn to stop the treacherous Admiral Zaarin, who took full control of the space station where the TIE Defender ships are built.

The addition contains 22 new missions, new ships and space objects, as well as allowing him to sit at the helm of the ultra-modern TIE Defender. To have access to this campaign, however, you need to complete all missions from the basic game. Star Wars: TIE Fighter with Defender of the Empire were later joined together in Star Wars: TIE Fighter Collectors CD ROM and Star Wars: X-Wing Collectors Series.
