The second large expansion pack to an online action game, Star Wars: Battlefront, developed by EA DICE. The Outer Rim DLC introduces four brand new multiplayer maps. They let players fight in the factories and among pipelines and platforms on Sullust, as well as in Jabba the Hutt’s throne room and in his garage on Tatooine.

Star Wars: Battlefront - Outer Rim Description

Star Wars: Battlefront – Outer Rim is an expansion pack for Star Wars: Battlefront, a shooter released in 2015. The DLC requires the original game to run – both titles were developed by DICE.

Gameplay

Outer Rim DLC for PS4, PC and XONE adds four new multiplayer maps. Fighting takes place in factories and among pipelines and platforms on Sullust, as well as in Jabba the Hutt’s throne room and in his garage on Tatooine.

The DLC also introduces two new heroes: Greedo and Nien Nunba – both are well known to the fans of the original movie trilogy. Another attraction in the Outer Rim DLC is the new game mode called Extraction. Here, the Rebel forces must see to it that valuable shipments of resources get to their transport ship safely. The Empire’s army, in turn, must prevent them from doing so.

Among other novelties, there are also new weapons: Relby V-10 rifle and DT-12 blaster pistol. On top of that there are three new Star Cards: Scatter Gun, Dioxis Grenade, and Adrenaline Stim.
