An adventure game set in the universe of Star Trek: Generations. As USS Enterprise Captain Picard's commander, we follow a mysterious and highly advanced civilization, taking part in classic adventure missions interwoven with strategic elements on board the ship.

Star Trek: The Next Generation - A Final Unity is an adventure game set in the universe of the popular sci-fi series Star Trek: Generations. The Spectrum Holobyte studio is responsible for its creation, so far known mainly due to the Fields of Glory strategy and Falcon simulation series. The publisher's duties were taken on by Microprose.

In the game we play the role of captain Picard commanding the legendary ship of the Federation - USS Enterprise. The story begins when one of the posts captures an approaching, unidentified ship and our team is sent to investigate the situation. The object turns out to be a small Romanesque reconnaissance ship, which apparently lost its power and deviated from the course, hitting the space controlled by the Federation. An unexpected meeting is only an introduction to the whole history, in which we follow in the footsteps of an ancient, highly advanced civilization, trying to discover its secrets.
