Snooker 19 is a billiard simulator sport game. Players take on the role of one of the 128 real players, including Ronnie O'Sullivan, Ken Doherty, and Jimmy White to participate in licensed competitions.
Mechanics
Snooker 19 puts a lot of emphasis on the realism. Players take part in the licensed World Snooker series. In case of a one-man competition, the game can be played as a professional player or by taking part in an amateur competition - Q-School.
The creators decided to diversify the game as much as possible. The gameplay is therefore fully customizable by the player. In addition to the standard snooker competition, the 6-red and Shoot-out modes have also been implemented.
Game modes
Snooker 19 can be played in both multiplayer and single-player modes. However, the production puts emphasis on the former variant. In addition to free play, one can also take part in virtual pool tournaments, which are synchronized with the World Snooker calendar.
Technical aspects
Snooker 19 offers realistic visuals. In the case of the single-player mode, advanced artificial intelligence is used, which increases the difficulty level of the game. In addition, a professional commentary in the television style was also taken care of.
