Sniper: Ghost Warrior

Sniper: Ghost Warrior is a tactical action game in which the player assumes the role of an experienced sniper who sets out to combat a military regime of the isle state, Isla Trueno. It was developed by the Polish studio, City Interactive, the creators of the Code of Honor and Terrorist Takedown series.

The democracy of Isla Trueno falls. An aggressive military junta (military dictatorship) takes over, and the matters becomes dire. The situation is noticed by the Western states, which send a special forces squad into the heart of the conflict with the mission of helping the local rebels restore the old government.

The player takes part in a number of missions constructed in a way that allows for making use of all skills that the protagonist possesses. In many cases, our role is to support the assaulting rebels. Moreover, we take part in stealth tasks, where we infiltrate the enemy ranks, as well as full combat missions.

The game offers a lot of freedom of choice and approach. One mission can be completed in various ways, depending on player’s decisions. It is often due to large levels located on Isla Trueno.

The developers put a large emphasis on faithful reflection of sniper “work”. In combat, the player has to pay attention to such factors as velocity and direction of the wind, terrain shape or vegetation cover.
