Sequel to the highly popular first-person shooter Sniper: Ghost Warrior. The game has been produced by the Polish studio City Interactive (CI Games). Campaign of Sniper: Ghost Warrior 2 once again puts players in the role of a sharpshooter sent behind enemy lines with the task to eliminate selected targets. Missions are located e.g. in the jungle, Himalayas, or in the ruins of Sarajevo. The gameplay focuses on tactical approach.

Sniper: Ghost Warrior 2 for PC, PS3 and etc. is the second part of a game series that debuted on the market in mid-2010. You play as a sniper infiltrating enemy territory, trying to get to the target quietly and eliminate it from a safe distance. This product was created by a Polish company CI Games responsible not only for the previous part, but also for a number of other, mainly budget productions.

Gameplay

The gameplay is quite different compared to most of FPS games available on the market. As your main weapon is a sniper rifle, you must avoid direct exchange of fire with the enemy by lurking in the bushes and waiting for the right moment to take the shot. Moreover, you can attack opponents by surprise and quickly eliminating them in fight.

The game takes you to new locations, i.e. snowy slopes of the Himalayas, or post-war Sarajevo. New environment requires new strategies and that is why the developers offer you, apart from six sniper rifles and a pistol, a night vision and thermosight.

Technology

Once again, CI Games has offered a complex physics mechanism presenting the use of sniper rifles. New players will enjoy the game’s facilitating options that help getting used to it. One of the most important modifications in Sniper: Ghost Warrior 2 for PC, PS3 and etc. is AI of computer opponents.

Game modes

Besides the campaign the players get the opportunity to compete with live opponents in a multiplayer mode. Two teams can compete on one of two available maps.
