Inspired by Japanese culture puzzle game, produced by French studio 3DDUO. The player's task is to arrange the blackened parts of the woodcut in such a way that they coincide with the illustration underneath. Gameplay engages imagination and requires attention.

Shadomania is an unusual puzzle game created by a French studio 3DDUO, specializing in productions addressed to the casual market (occasional players). The source of inspiration for developers was the Japanese art of woodcut.

The game is devoid of plot. The challenge for the player is to match the elements with the black parts of the picture so that they match the original painting (presenting landscapes, animals, customs, etc.) hidden underneath. This requires a lot of imagination and the ability to focus attention.

The game consists in turning and adjusting the position of individual fragments in relation to each other. As the game progresses, the scale of difficulty and the number of components increases. The player can use a limited number of hints, allowing for a few seconds to look at the hidden image. The reward for solving tasks is to unlock climatic illustrations, which can be viewed in the gallery or used as a screen saver.
