A combination of jRPG and logical games. The main character, Hanabusa, wants to take revenge on the demons that enslaved her mother. With the help of a white fox and a magical sword, the girl tries to deal with evil spirits. The production was created by the Japanese studio TORaIKI.

99 Spirits is the first game in the output of the independent studio TORaIKI. The ambition of the artists was to use motifs related to the beliefs of medieval Japan (e.g. Tsukumogami - ghosts, into which objects can be transformed after reaching 100 years) in a production combining elements of a logical game and jRPG.

The plot of 99 Spirits is very confusing. The action takes place in the realities of feudal Japan. The main character, Hanabusa, wants to take revenge on the evil spirits that enslaved her mother. A white fox, a servant of the mountain spirit, comes to her aid. The girl also receives a magical sword, allowing her to see the true nature of spirits. One of them convinces the protagonist that she is her long lost father, Hidetada, and then breaks the sword and leaves Hanabusa defenceless. The heroine doesn't give up, however, she decides to repair the weapon, discover the truth about her origin and destroy the evil spirits.
