Fire Emblem Warriors is a spin-off of the popular jRPG series Fire Emblem that was released on Nintendo Switch. The game that was created by Omega Force and Nintendo is quite different from what we could see in the series' previous installments. Instead of a turn-based tactical RPG, we get a fantasy hack'n'slash that uses the series' characteristic elements and characters, and throwing in only a couple of RPG elements. In terms of gameplay, Fire Emblem Warriors uses mechanics similar to those from the Dynasty Warriors game series.

Fire Emblem Echoes: Shadows of Valentia is a remake of the 1992 Fire Emblem Gaiden, the second game in the famous jRPG series and was never before translated into English. Fire Emblem Echoes: Shadows of Valentia takes place in a fantasy world divided between two opposing factions. The game focuses on two childhood friends who, as adults, are fighting for the opposing sides. Their stories intertwine, allowing us to see what happens on both sides of the conflict. Like in every game from the series, gameplay focuses on turn-based battles where we control a small group of heroes. There are many of them available for recruitment, but only a handful can be used on the battlefield. We can level up our characters, explore the world, visit towns, and complete side quests between the battles. Unlike its precursor, Fire Emblem Echoes: Shadows of Valentia features 3D visuals and fully voiced dialogues.

Fire Emblem Heroes is a fantasy-based, tactical RPG game. This is the first installment of the Nintendo's popular game series that was released on mobile platforms. The game takes place in a land divided between two opposing nations: striving for world domination Emblian Empire, and the Kingdom of Askran, bent on stopping the former. The players take the role of an Askran mage whose mission is to save the kingdom. Our protagonist can summon heroes from various games in the series, and our enemy is capable of doing the same. Turn-based battles, based on a simple gesture system, are at the gameplay's core. Smart usage of the summoned heroes' abilities, and taking advantage of the landform and the surroundings, are the key elements in achieving victory. Like every proper RPG, Fire Emblem Heroes has a functional character progression system.

Another entry in the tactical jRPG series that has been developed since 1990, as well as the second game for the Nintendo 3DS console to be made by Intelligent System. Its story is divided into two paths: Hoshido and Nohr, each available in one version – Birthright and Conquest. Both let us play in a fantasy world as Corrin (default name of the main hero or heroine) a member of one of the titular factions. Gameplay focuses on exploring the land and turn-based battles. As we progress with the plot, we gather experience points and develop our character. While Fire Emblem Fates: Birthright is a full-scale sequel, players who want to learn the whole story should also buy the Conquest edition, available with a discount as add-on.

Fire Emblem Fates: Conquest is another game in the popular tactical jRPG series developed by Intelligent Systems. The plot has been divided into two paths: Hoshido in Fire Emblem Fates: Birthright, and Nohr in Fire Emblem Fates: Conquest. In Conquest, we play as Corrin, a member of the Nohr faction. Exploration and battles on vast maps are the core elements of gameplay in Fire Emblem Fates: Conquest. The player's additional quest is to start a revolution in the kingdom. To do so, he or she needs to complete various missions, such as base defense or breaching the enemy line. Even though Fire Emblem Fates: Conquest is a full game, to see the story of the opposing faction players have to buy Fire Emblem Fates: Birthright, an expansion that can be bought for a lower price if you already own Conquest.

This tactical RPG is the eleventh entry in the acclaimed Fire Emblem series, and the first to be developed for Nintendo 3DS. In contrast to the previous installments in the series, the game is not a remake but an entirely new chapter in the history of the franchise. The story takes place 2000 years after the events of the original Fire Emblem and Fire Emblem Gaiden, focusing on a group of soldiers from the kingdom of Ylisse. The player controls a customized character suffering from amnesia, taken in by the king of the realm and serving him by defending the kingdom from monsters and forces of the hostile nation of Plegia. The gameplay, like in the previous titles in the series, focuses on tactical movement of characters across battlefield and fighting enemy units. Other features include the ability to build relationships between the characters to improve their abilities, adjustable difficulty levels, a mode that disables permanent death of characters, and multiple camera perspectives in battle.
