Secret World Legends is a story-driven action MMORPG developed by Funcom. It serves as a reboot of the company's other MMO game, The Secret World. The plot is based on the same premise as the original game and tells the story of the same conflict-driven, full of magic and bloodthirsty monsters world where mysterious factions of templars and illuminati fight for power. As we play, we will visit darker sides of many real-world cities.
Secret World Legends for PC is an open world, story-driven action RPG that allows a bigger number of players to play together at the same time. It is a free-to-play game developed by Funcom and serves as a relaunch of The Secret World, company’s other MMORPG.
The Plot
The plot in Secret World Legends for PC is based on the same premise as the original game and tells the story of the same conflict-driven world full of magic and bloodthirsty monters where, among others, centuries-old factions of Templars and illuminati fight for power. During our adventures we will see the darker sides of places like New York, Seul, London, Tokyo, Cairo, and Transylvania. The game’s main story, including side quests, will yield over one hundred hours of gameplay.
Mechanics
In our fight against the ancient, legendary, and mythical creatures we will use magic and more traditional weapons, like pistols, rifles, shotguns, and various melee weapons. Each of the three available types of arms (magic, firearms, short-range weapons) has its own three subcategories, giving us various ways of approaching combat. Our character gets more proficient at using a given type of equipment the longer they use it. Combat in Secret World Legends for PC is dynamic. Unlike in The Secret World, the number of abilities we can access when fighting is limited, but now we can evade our enemies’ attacks. We use keyboard and mouse to control our character.
When it comes to the looks of our hero, we can modify our in-game avatar in many ways. The game offers hundreds of costumes and accessories for us to chose from.
Game Modes
We have a lot of freedom when it comes to gameplay in Secret World Legends for PC. We can finish the game’s story alone, but there is nothing to stop us from doing so with our friends. When it comes to PvP, players can fight against each other on arenas without any factions division.
