Season: A Letter to the Future

Season is an adventure game focused on exploration. The game was developed by Scavengers studio, known from Darwin Project.

Plot

The action takes place in a land which is a fantastic version of the 20th century Earth. One of the differences from our reality is that a thousand years have passed without any technological progress. This world is on the verge of a mysterious cataclysm. The catastrophe is inevitable and when it comes, it will wipe out most cultures, historically important places and natural wonders.

In the game, we play the role of a young woman who, until now, lived in a community that avoided contact with the rest of the world. The heroine goes on a bicycle trip to document a reality that will soon cease to exist due to the cataclysm.

Mechanics

Season is an adventure game focused on relaxing exploration. The player rides a bicycle around the world and discovers various cultures, gets to know the characters and makes notes and collects artifacts in order to document the history of the world and its inhabitants and to protect their memory from being forgotten.

In the course of the adventure, we will also discover the truth about the previous disaster and the causes of the forthcoming catastrophe.

Game mode

Season offers single player mode only.

Technical assault

The audiovisual layer is one of the strong points of the game. The creators have prepared a lovely 3D graphic design, made in a slightly comic style, which makes visiting the world a pure pleasure.
