Plenty is thrown at the wall, and just enough of it sticks, but it's hard to get over the idea of plucking monsters out of the ground.

Farmagia’s presentation, driven by Hiro Mashima’s designs, does wonders for a game that blends so many gameplay elements together that they water down what has the makings of a unique RPG.

NintendoWorldReport: 6 / 10 by Allyson Cygan

Ultimately, for having so many mechanics, all of them ended up feeling half-baked. Farmagia in a lot of ways feels like a first draft, and I'd love to see these mechanics pared down and refined in a future game. Farmagia needed a little bit longer to grow, and I hope another game can pay attention to this in the future.
