Rugby Challenge 4

Rugby Challenge 4 is the next game in the rugby series, which doesn't differ too much from the previous instalments in terms of gameplay, but has been enriched with brand new modes and opportunities to expand the experience both in single player mode and during multiplayer matches. The game was developed by Wicked Witch studio and published by Tru Blu Games.

Mechanics

RCK4 features 12 different types of competitions including Super Rugby, Curry Cup, Premiership Rugby, as well as the newly added Women's Seven Rugby offering the opportunity to play one of 16 international teams, including 5 licensed teams. In addition, there is the option to create your own championship, as well as customise your own rugby player using various modifiers. Apart from that, players have various game modes to choose from, including solo matches, career mode and team competitions.The developers, in an effort to achieve greater realism, decided to improve the positioning of players and AI formations, refined the players' animations, perfected the camera work, and introduced the possibility of using one of 10 moves that have a chance of confusing the opponent, such as cross-kick. There are also sports commentary summarising the game, just like in a real match broadcast. Grant Nisbett and Justin Marshall - experienced commentators of the sport - take the role of commentators.

There's also a cross-platform fan club that allows you to rate players and teams, as well as download and share them across all platforms.

Game modes

Rugby Challenge 4 has been developed for both single player mode and the multiplayer mode, both locally and online.

Technical aspects

RC4 is a fully 3D game developed on Unreal Engine 4, with a focus on realism and fine-tuned player behaviour animations.
